Empowering Scriptures For Prayer

Prayer.

Prayer is one the most essential elements of our salvation; It sits right up there with reading our Bibles and spreading Christ’s love throughout the world. Over the years we have chalked prayer up to just an afterthought, a thoughtless ritual, or even a dreadful routine done out of tradition. But did you know that prayer is where your power lies? I have created this list of scriptures for those who are ready to get serious about their prayer life – your sacred time with God and your weapon against the forces unseen. When Jesus was tempted in the wilderness by Satan, He recited scriptures to fight back until Satan went away. The best way to get the devil off your back is to start praying to Your God. The Bible says that Jesus came to give us a sword. That sword is God’s word and it is going to enhance your prayer life.  Remember, God loves you.  Be encouraged. Speak to your Heavenly Father. Tell Him your needs and desires. Rest your cares upon Him. He will protect you. He will guide you. He will bring you through.
