“She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.”
Proverbs 31:26 (KJV)
Honestly, if I could do my blog without rendering my name I would. Not that I am ashamed of my testimony (anymore at least), but because I do not want people to focus on me – just the goodness of God. But in order to bond with you all in the long run and truly form long lasting friendships, I must get personal.
Hi friend, I’m Alicia.
A born-again woman. A lover of all mankind. A wife. A daughter. A mother. A worshiper.
Oh, did I forget to mention, I am a delivered backslider? Yes. I grew up in a Christian environment, but somewhere along the way I decided to rebel after much pain arrived on the doorsteps of my life. So I was what Christians would consider the worst of the worst (spiritually). While I was on a dark and destructive path in sin headed on my way to death, God never was too far from me. He had and still has bigger plans for my life. He just wanted my repentance and devotion towards Him. The only One who truly loves us while the devil makes false promises to us. I cannot wait to share the Lord’s spiritual wisdom with you. Too many times Christians lock away their testimonies of the Lord. Scared of what people will think or say. Well, I’m here to be REAL with you. No shame in my witness. I pray God blesses all who listen and take away from this testimony of His goodness and blogs taught straight from His Word by His Spirit.
Last, but of high importance, God loves you. Yes, YOU. No, I don’t care what you did or what you are doing. Neither does He care that you are not perfect. You heard me correct the first time. HE LOVES YOU. He loves you so much He sent His Son to die on the cross for your sins just so you can openly and always have a relationship with Him if you believe on Him, repent of your sins, and by His Spirit simply seek and love Him with all your heart, soul, and mind.
And, as of October 2021, this blog has been updated to be a place of studying and being the women God has called us to be. God has placed this upon my heart with such a heaviness because the ways of the world and it’s lawlessness has made it’s way into the church and the women and young girls of it. It’s time to get back to the Bible. There is so much beauty in biblical womanhood and I will not stand idly by while the world tries to pervert it. Who the Lord created you to be is good and perfect and through this blog I pray you grow like never before in your appreciation of it and watch how blessed your life becomes because of your obedience. Let’s grow – being not spotted by the world – in His Word, His will, and His ways! Embracing our God-given identities with merry hearts!
Peace and blessings,
Alicia – The Redeemed Wife
